Patio Enclosures & Screen-Ins
Custom Screen Rooms
San Diego's climate is built for outdoor living -- but bugs, debris, and coastal wind can make your patio unusable half the time. A custom screen room encloses your space with floor-to-ceiling panels so you can actually enjoy it, year-round.

What We Build
Every screen room is custom-designed around your patio, porch, or pool area. Here are the most common configurations we build across San Diego.
Patio Enclosures
The most common build. We enclose a standard rectangular covered patio with floor-to-ceiling screen panels and a screen door entry. Clean lines, full airflow, zero bugs.
L-Shaped & Multi-Level
Wrap-around patios and split-level decks need custom engineering. We build segmented panels that follow your roofline and step down with grade changes.
Pool Enclosures
Keep leaves, debris, and insects out of your pool area. Screen enclosures over pools also reduce chemical usage and make the space usable in the evening.
Porch Screen-Ins
Convert an open front or back porch into a screened-in sitting area. We work with wood columns, stucco walls, and concrete foundations to seal everything tight.
Built to Last Outdoors
Coastal salt air, Santa Ana winds, UV exposure -- San Diego is tough on outdoor structures. Everything we use is chosen for this climate.
Powder-Coated Aluminum Frame
Extruded aluminum that won't rust, warp, or rot in San Diego's coastal air. Color-matched powder coat means zero painting, decades of low maintenance.
Pet-Resistant Mesh Option
Vinyl-coated polyester mesh that's 7x stronger than fiberglass. Handles claws, scratching, and leaning from even large breeds.
Screen Door Access Included
Every enclosure includes at least one hinged or sliding screen door. We add multiple entry points based on your layout and how you use the space.
Integrates with Existing Structures
Wood patio cover, alumawood, concrete block porch -- we attach and seal screen panels to your structure so rain and wind stay out at every edge.
From Consultation to Completion
Screen rooms are not a same-day service. Here is what the process looks like from first call to finished enclosure.
Site Visit & Measurement
We come to your home, walk the space, measure every post, beam, and grade change. No two patios are the same, so this step is critical.
Custom Design
We draft a panel layout, door placement, and frame plan based on your structure and how you want to use the space. You approve before we fabricate.
Fabrication
Aluminum framing is cut, welded, and powder-coated to spec. Screen panels are built to exact dimensions. This is not off-the-shelf.
Installation
We install the full enclosure on-site. Framing, panels, doors, and weatherseal. Final walk-through with you before we leave.
HOA & Permits
Most San Diego HOAs approve screen rooms, especially when they use clean aluminum framing and neutral colors. We have worked with dozens of HOAs across the county and can provide spec sheets and renderings for your architectural review committee.
We recommend checking your CC&Rs before scheduling your consultation so we can address any specific requirements upfront.
Common Questions
The main factors are the size of the area, complexity of the roofline and attachment points, number of doors, and your choice of mesh. A simple rectangular patio is the most straightforward. L-shaped or multi-level patios cost more due to additional framing and custom panel work. We provide a free on-site consultation after measuring.

A typical single-patio screen room takes 1 to 3 days to install once materials are fabricated. Fabrication lead time is usually 2 to 3 weeks after your design is finalized. Larger or more complex enclosures may take longer on-site.
Yes. Our aluminum frames are engineered for coastal wind loads, and we use heavy-gauge screen spline and reinforced corners. The mesh itself is flexible enough to absorb wind gusts without tearing. We've had screen rooms through Santa Ana wind events with no issues.
